After establishing my the goals of my breeding program, and assembling some of the nicest mares that I could find, I turned my attention to the stallion barn and realized that I was missing a top quality Egyptian Stallion to cross on my Polish Mares. Originally I planned on breeding my mares to outside stallions, but it always bothered me that I had no stallion of my own to breed to when those fillies came of age.

I went to The Committee and I found three stallions who looked very promising, but of all of them only one truly stood out for me: *El Thay Samoun. After a nail biting wait on his application we heard that news that Thayli was ours!

After conducting a lot of research we found out what a gem we had unearthed. Thayli is a multi-regional champion in Dressage; in fact he is a fully established dressage champion!

How he ended up in the Committee I may never know but I am glad we took him out and returned him to the show ring. When he returned he was shown as a Hunter, as a Show Hack, and in a variety of driving shows. 2008's crowning achievement was being named 2008 AHA National Champion Stallion - 15 yo and Over.

He has always been willing and "gung-ho" to try new things. We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with this wonderful stallion.
2009 will mark another full year of showing for Thayli. He is full of energy and we are confident that he'll continue to make his mark as another Great Horse who was plucked from the Committee.
